Synopsis for "Death of a Vampire"
An American named Albert Hodgon travels to Vienna to visit his doctor who journeys with him to a castle his grandmother left him. The doctor, Walter Von Rudermeister, informed him that his grandmother's ancestor Baron Gruther Von Snessel had once fell in love with the daughter of the village blacksmith and that she ended up being a vampire. The Baron had her burned in the market square but before she died she swore vengeance on the Baron's bloodline. After going to sleep for the night the doctor sprang awake at the sound of batwings and checked on his patient who's room was still under guard.
The doctor checked his room and saw that Albert was missing and determined there was a secret passage. The doctor along with the guards found the passage and went through it only to find Albert severely drained of his blood and surrounded by vampires, one of which was the servant girl Katherine Dietrich who laughed as the blood of Albert flowed through them. The vampires left Albert to die but the doctor with the aid of the two bodyguards performed a blood transfusion to save Alberts life. Sometime later they found Katherine dead because what she and the other vampires didn't know was that Albert suffered from a tropical blood disease one that seemed to have a deadly affect on them. Albert however with the blood transfusion had a new lease on life.
