Notes
Continuity Notes[]
- Originally, "From Out of the Black Pit Came... Grogg!" was set in an unnamed "remote Asian province." When it was reprinted in Where Monsters Dwell #27, the story was edited so that Miklos was now Michael and the unnamed province was changed to Bodavia, a fictional communist nation created for Marvel's British reprint series. This retcon seems to have stuck as Marvel Monsters: From the Files of Ulysses Bloodstone (and the Monster Hunters) #1 confirms the story's updated setting.
- Grogg and Miklos Kozlov next appear in Strange Tales #87.
