Synopsis for "The Return of Gargantus! / Gargantus Part 2"
Gargantus, from Strange Tales #80, returns and this time he inexplicably doesn't have breathing problems. Our hero wipes him out by whipping out Stan Lee's Book of Physics which states that higher water pressure magnifies electric current and diving his bathysphere nearly to the ocean floor when Gargantus grabs it and gets an electric shock sent through him.

Synopsis for "The Man Who Fell!"
The Mayor intends to marry a fortune teller who doesn't love him. He gives her the ultimatum of either marrying him or going to jail for fake fortunes. When she insists her fortunes are real he offers her the opportunity of proving it by reading his fortune. The fortune teller does so and warns him of a fall. He tells her that if it doesn't come true she must choose prison or marriage. The mayor returns home and ties himself in the basement to prevent himself from ever falling, although upon hearing a noise he realizes it wasn't his fall he had to worry about but instead a chandelier above his head.

Synopsis for "The Ape Man"
A criminal sent to an island prison thinks that stories of an ape man are fanciful until he comes face to face with the creature and learns that, due to a witch doctor's spell, he must now assume the form of the ape man until he can find another to take his place.
