History

S.H.I.E.L.D.'s history is presumably similar to their counterpart's. Two of their agents were Ben Grimm and Reed Richards. One day, Reed warned the hero Hyperion that several villains that he exiled to the Negative Zone had escaped. While Hyperion and Reed argued over using the Negative Zone as a prison, Ben expressed admiration for Hyperion. As Hyperion flew off to apprehend the escapees, Ben cheered Hyperion on.

Ben and Reed later went to the White House to investigate strange energy readings. They were accompanied by photographer Peter Parker. The readings were coming from President Coulson's demonic Pandemonium Cube. Not wanting anyone to know about the Cube, Coulson killed Ben, Reed, and Peter.
