Synopsis for "Atlantis, Mon Amour!"

A young Atlantean woman named Coral finds the Sub-Mariner and requests his aid to help a threatened Atlantis. Namor reluctantly agrees despite his denouncement from his royal title and returns to his realm to confront a group of unknown aliens Coral and Vashti and witnessed landing near their city. Namor confronts a group of creatures called Haab who show very little intellect but incredible strength as one of them break into Atlantis through its outer wall. Namor attempts communication but is forced into battle with the creatures when they attack him. The battled is halted when their alien masters, the Banari, approach with Coral and make first contact announcing their peaceful intentions.

Namor explains that he is no longer the prince of Atlantis and points them to Vashti who is Atlantis' current ruler. Namor then leaves them behind as he no longer has any interested in ruling Atlantis as the Banari, Haab and Coral approach the city's broken walls. As the group approaches Atlantean guards view their encroachment on Atlantis and begin their assault on the group of refugees. On edge from a previous battle with Attuma's forces they rush headlong into battle not noticing their lack of weapons and slaughter the lot of them including Coral. Namor who is still near the scene hears the commotion but arrived to late to do anything but witness the many corpses and perhaps genocide of an entire alien race. He mourned their loss and buried their corpses, blaming himself for not staying and guiding them.
