History
Sudbury is a city in Ontario. It was the home to the Houghton Chemical Research Facility. The facility was attacked by the Jackal who took four employees hostage. Beta Flight was dispatched to deal with the situation, given the involvement of a superhuman. During the encounter, Jackal seriously wounded Manikin but the Jackal was captured and the hostages released.[1]

In Earth-21798, the team Alpha Flight fought to remove the Squadron Supreme from Canada. Sadbury contained one of several safehouses Alpha Flight used throughout Canada.[2]
