Super Adaptoid[src]

The Super Adaptoid is a high-tech metamorphic robot created by M.O.D.O.K.

The Super Adaptoid was a high-tech metamorphic robot created by M.O.D.O.K. approximately 12 years ago. He was present during the Tarleton's house move, with M.O.D.O.K. sawing the Adaptoid in half to make him fit in two boxes. [2]

Despite his advance abilities, the Tarleton family often underestimates him or takes him for granted.[1] He also frequently betrays the family, causing them to reset him frequently. [5]

When Jodie and M.O.D.O.K. decided to separate, Super Adaptoid moved with M.O.D.O.K. into a studio apartment at the Dire Suites.[2]

Super Adaptoid acted as the van for M.O.D.O.K.'s villain team from the Bar with No Name. Unfortunately, he was stolen by some teenagers, impounded, and abducted by the Anomaly.[3]

Working with the Anomaly[6] and Arcade, Super Adaptoid disguised himself as Brandi, Jodie's manager, to lead her into making poor decisions.[4] He then helped to abduct Jodie, Melissa, and Lou, taking part in the Anomaly's plan and working with Arcade. However, the Anomaly and Arcade eventually discarded the Adaptoid, feeling he had served his purpose. After the Anomaly and Arcade were defeated The Super Adaptoid apologised for betraying the family, but was promptly reset.[5]

The Super Adaptoid took part in the reception for Lou's bar mitzvah reception, acting as a van for M.O.D.O.K. to drive and a chair for the two Lous. He eventually let two Ciegrimites M.O.D.O.K. had brought free from their restraints in exchange for compliments.[7]

The Super Adaptoid is tempermental, overly dramatic, and emotionally clingy.[1][2][5]

Powers and Abilities

Unlike his Earth-616 counterpart who mimics the powers and abilities of others, the Super Adaptoid appears to have the ability to physically change his body into various mechanic devices (such as a smoothie machine,[1] a toaster,[2] an alarm clock,[8] a television,[8] and a van[3][7]) or inanimate objects (like a ladder[1] or a chair[7]). He is also capable of changing his body to realistically pass as a human.[4]

The Super Adaptoid can speak limited French.[3]
