History

The Superior Avengers began as an idea of Kristoff Vernard called "The Avengers Initiative" which consisted of searching the time-stream for future timelines where Doom's Reign had been prosperous and recruiting heroes from those futures to prove to the public Doom could be a philanthropist.

After some failed attempts, Kristoff Vernard ended up recruiting a group of heroes from more than a century into the future, consisting of Killmonger, Doctor Octopus, Malekith, Onslaught, Abomination and Ghost. Superficially, everything went according to plan, but secretly these Avengers actually had some goals of their own and weren't afraid to topple Doom to reach them.
