Synopsis for "Goodbye, Farewell and Good Riddance"

Fred says he is proud of his plan: by stealing a serum from the Chameleon, he made Abner assume his appearance and then assumed that of a famous baseball player to relive his moments of glory (too bad his girlfriend is actually the Black Cat who approached him only to steal the painting from him). Meanwhile, the Owl contacts Fred to tell him that he has discovered his trick, but that if he rigs the game so that he wins a bet that will get him back all the money he lost because of him, he won't hurt him. At this point the story cuts off and it turns out that Fred is talking to someone in a bar and this person tells him that he can't leave an open ending and asks what happened to the rest of the gang. Fred decides to oblige him and it turns out that Speed Demon won a case against Iron Fist getting a big settlement, Abner was saved by Iron Man, Overdrive and the Beetle got away with a big scare as Doctor Doom demanded from them the return of the painting, and Shocker after having knocked out the Punisher has gained control of the Maggia. It turns out that Fred told Spider-Man the whole story.
