Synopsis for 1st story

Ormon gave Simon 24 hours to decide whether or not he would give his soul in exchange for becoming Superior again and that if he did not acquire any, he would be cast down into the lowest pit. After putting on her jacket, Maddie was surprised to see Simon in her penthouse and Superior missing. Then, she realized that Simon was Superior all along. Simon explained his story to Maddie as she fed him.

The next morning, Maddie drove to a children's hospice called Simon to Apple-Tree Hill Center and showed him where she used to live. Then, she returned him to his house, where he was reunited with his parents. When Josh asked Maddie about her upcoming interview with Superior, she claimed that he had left Earth and this story spread. After Ormon revealed to Sharpie why he picked his space-monkey form, he transformed him.

Meanwhile, reporters were surrounding Tad Scott when Sharpie, who Ormon had transformed into Abraxas, began causing destruction in order to lure Simon. On live television, Abraxas threatened to kill millions unless Simon agreed to become Superior again.

Solicit Synopsis

The fall-out from last issue continues as Superior discovers the secret behind his powers. Does he remain a superhero and meet his terrible destiny? Does he give up his amazing powers and go back to life in his wheel-chair? A word to the wise: This issue contains so many shocks that more gentle readers might be unable take the pace. It also contains art which writer Mark Millar fears will make other artists go impotent. But as the story of America's number one new hero builds toward a conclusion, one guarantee is that you won't be disappointed.
