History

Susan Storm was a member of the crew of the experimental spaceship headed by her. During the trip, the ship was exposed to the bombardment of cosmic rays where the shielding of the ship was not enough to protect them and exposing the three crew members to dangerous radiation which, however, did not kill them but turned them into the members of the super group of the Terrific Trio. Susan Storm acquired the powers to ignite her body into flames and so became Human Torch.
