Grave robbers sell a living person pretending to be dead to a doctor in order so that she can rise from the coffin later in the evening and rob him, but she is fond of the doctor and so confesses the plot before the police.

Synopsis for "The Corpse Came Back!"
Wilson attempts to frame the janitor for the murder of his boss but the police suspect him so they tell him a phony story about the janitor dying from a heart attack. The janitor is made up to appear as a corpse in Wilson's office which disappears when Wilson attempts to summon help. The police hire an actress to pretend to be a widow and her pleadings make Wilson's nerve crack. Wilson leaps to his death from the high-rise window and the officer admits the plan worked too well as they had hoped for a confession.

Synopsis for "Here Comes the Hangman!"
A woman is exonerated from the crime of murdering her intended husband after the dead man's brother attempts to frame her. The killer's story is tripped up when a doctor interviews the woman and she mentions being puzzled about why her husband was wearing a waistcoat on such a warm day. The doctor realizes the brother's story must be false because from the position of the bullet hole through the clothing it would not have been possible for the victim to be raising his hands. The murderer is apprehended and the woman released.
