History
After acquiring and enslaving the Venom symbiote during the War of the Realms,[1] Malekith augmented several of his Dark Elf Acolytes using it.[2]
During the battle against the Thor Corps, several of these symbiote-augmented "Spider-Elves" were crushed by All-Father Thor's Mjolnir, and escaped by amalgamating into a massive gestalt that dubbed itself "Svartalfvenom". Svartalfvenom attempted to eat Freyja, but was beaten back by Young Thor of Earth-616's past - whose selflessness enabled him to wield All-Father Thor's Mjolnir. After taking his Jarnbjorn back from All-Father Thor, Young Thor used the divine axe to kill Svartalfvenom.[3]
Personality
Svartalfvenom is driven by its constituent hosts' fanatical loyalty to Malekith and hatred of the Asgardians, and attempted to eat Freyja Freyrdottir.[3]
