History
T'Challa's childhood was the same as his Earth-199999 counterpart until one night while practicing throwing his spear he fell outside the Wakandan barrier where a ship intercepted him and he was taken to Yondu. Due to the Vibranium meteorite located in Wakanda, Yondu's minions picked up strong readings from there so they thought it was the boy they were supposed to kidnap. Yondu, seeing T'Challa's adventurous spirit, decided to stay with him and show him the untouchable worlds of the galaxy. During his stay with Yondu, Yondu lied to him that Wakanda was destroyed to keep the Ravagers together.
Years later, T'Challa taught the Ravagers to change their lifestyles and became an admirable intergalactic icon where he took the name Star-Lord. T'Challa went to Morag where he got the orb from the temple where he confronted Korath and Sakaarans who wanted the orb on Ronan's orders, they were easily defeated by Star-Lord and he considered Korath as he was an enthusiastic fan of his adventures so he integrated him into the Ravagers. Meeting with Yondu, they went to a bar in Contraxia with the Ravagers and integrated Korath into the team. When T'Challa was taking a picture with Drax, he met Nebula who told him about Embers of Genesis and its ability to heal dying planets with its properties and that it was in the possession of the Collector. T'Challa convinced Yondu to help him steal the Embers. T'Challa and Nebula devised a plan to infiltrate the Collector's Museum by pretending to be the sellers of the Orb while the other Ravagers distracted the Black Order on the outside. Tivan was distracted by Yondu and Nebula while T'Challa hid and went looking for the Embers, then ran into Howard the Duck who freed him to lead him through the collection to the Embers but had to run, as the Black Order started an alarm after discovering they were being distracted.
As he was running, he encountered a Wakandan spaceship that was ignited by his Vibranium necklace, and inside the ship he discovered a recorded message from his father who was looking for him years ago, realizing that Yondu had lied to him about the destruction of Wakanda before being knocked out by Nebula who was following the plan they had made earlier. T'Challa was imprisoned in a cell with other captured Devastators, there he confronted Yondu who had lied to him about the destruction of Wakanda, Yondu replied that he wanted T'Challa to break free from the shackles of his past, so he could embrace his true explorer self and that he wanted to be with the Devastators, his true family, but T'Challa said that they are not his family and never were. He was interrupted by Corvus who knocked him out to take him to Tivan, then woke up inside the containment unit. Tivan began to taunt T'Challa for making him a new exhibit for his museum, to which T'Challa told him he was a mere human. Annoyed with T'Challa, Tivan ordered Ebony Maw to dissect him and remove his remains in pieces, leaving him with T'Challa and Carina. T'Challa took his chance to free himself by breaking the glass with his necklace and tried to hit Maw, only for Maw to stop T'Challa with his telekinesis but Carina shot him and let him escape.
T'Challa confronted Tivan but was defeated by him using some of the weapons he had collected including the Necrosword, T'Challa was helped by Yondu who broke the crown and managed to trick him into falling into one of a containment unit but before removing his bracelet that he used to control his museum. Handing the bracelet to Carina, T'Challa and Yondu left Knowhere and was contacted by Nebula, who told him that the entire crew was alive and well, so T'Challa told them to meet at a rendezvous point. On the ship, Yondu apologized to T'Challa for lying to him about the fate of Wakanda, but T'Challa forgave him, saying that he showed him the universe, as promised, Udonta told him that he should follow his heart, which will lead him to where he belongs so they went to Earth. The Ravagers went to Earth, T'Challa was reunited with his father and his family from Wakanda, he also introduced them to the Devastators. After his return, the people of Wakanda held a celebration for him, there T'Chaka asked Yondu how his son ended up on their ship who tried to explain that he was kidnapped by accident but T'Challa told his father that he was lost and the Devastators found him and gave him a home.[1]
Guardians of the Multiverse[]
T'Challa and the Ravagers found out about Ego's arrival on Earth and that he went to claim his son, Peter Quill. Ego began his expansion but T'Challa bombed him and took Quill away, then The Watcher appeared before him and recruited him by taking him out of his universe. T'Challa was transported to a dimension outside of time and space in a bar conjured up by Doctor Strange where he met Captain Carter, Killmonger, Thor and Gamora. The Watcher appeared and told them about the threat Ultron was to the Multiverse and the Infinity Stones, then devised a plan to stop Ultron and Uatu called them The Guardians of the Multiverse and teleported them to an uninhabited planet in another universe.
When Ultron appeared, Strange provided them all with a protection spell to counter Ultron's attacks, T'Challa managed to steal the Soul Stone he had and then the others escaped to Ultron's home universe where they met that universe's Black Widow. Ultron then traveled to their universe and tried to destroy them, but was subdued by Strange and the other guardians and ignited Infinity Crusher with the Soul Stone so he could destroy their Infinity Stones but it had no effect as they were made to destroy the Infinity Stones of Gamora's Universe. Ultron retrieved his Soul Stone and tried to destroy them again, but Natasha with the help of Captain Carter managed to pierce his eye with an arrow containing Arnim Zola's mind and corrupted his programming and killed him, Killmonger used a Sentinel head to steal the armor along with the Stones it contained and tried to convince the other guardians to use the Stones to fix their universes, but T'Challa told him to scramble the Stones but he refused so Killmonger tried to destroy the guardians until Zola awoke now with Ultron's body and used his powers to claim the Stones for himself, while the two tried to claim the Infinity Stones, Strange locked them with the help of Uatu in a pocket dimension. With the Ultron threat over, T'Challa was returned to his universe at the very moment he was extracted from it where he resumed his fight against Ego.[2]Attributes
