Synopsis for 1st story
While the Human Torch is on a date in the Baxter Building the power suddenly goes out. Johnny sees a large robot rampaging through the city so he sends out a call to the rest of the Fantastic Four. During the battle, Mr. Fantastic surmises that the robot is the creation of The Wizard and he creates a tracking device so the Invisible Woman can track him down. Mr. Fantastic, the Human Torch, and the Thing continue battling the robot which is constantly sucking energy to enlarge itself. The robot then sends out probe which detects a large energy source in Earth's orbit. The probe flies up, discovers that the source is the Silver Surfer, attempts to attempt to drain energy from him, and is subsequently destroyed.
Meanwhile, the Invisible Woman has captured the Wizard and calls the team to inform them that the Wizard's robot has gone out of control and is seeking to consume as much power as it can. The Silver Surfer arrives at the battle and shuts down the robot. Mr. Fantastic wonders aloud what to do with the excess power the robot has consumed and Johnny makes an impassioned plea to have some of the power to reheat his and his date's now cooled pasta dinner.
