History
Talan is a member of the Atlantean royal family. He was married to Namora the cousin of the current King Namor. Due to her Hybrid nature she was unable to conceive naturally with her husband, much to their disappointment. Namora tracked down the rogue scientist Vyrra and asked him for help. He cloned Namora and placed the child in her womb so to apear as she was born naturally. Not knowing how his daughter Namorita was actually conceived, believing she was his own.
When Namor went missing in the 50's, Namora searched for him to no avail. In 1961, Namora and her family left Atlantis for the colony of Maritanis. Soon afterward, Talan was killed in an atomic bomb test, and Namora took their child to live in Lemuria.Attributes
Powers
Atlantean Abilities: Talan possesses the conventional attributes of Homo mermanus: gills that extract oxygen from water, superhuman physiology to withstand extreme pressures and temperatures, and acute vision. He can swim at approximately 30 miles per hour. He can remain out of water for approximately nine minutes before beginning to suffocate. However, he can operate on the surface by wearing a water-filled helmet or using a chemical that enables him to draw oxygen from the air.
