Appearing in "The Wisdom of the Watcher!"
- The Ultimate Machine
Synopsis for "The Wisdom of the Watcher!"
Locked in battle with the Amphibion over possession of the Watcher's Ultimate Machine, the Hulk finds that he is evenly matched against the creature. Not wishing for his home to be destroyed, the Watcher transports the Hulk and the Amphibion to a desolate area in which they can fight without damaging anything.
While at first the Amphibion has the upper hand, the Hulk soon overpowers the creature and throws it into orbit. The Watcher, seeing that the battle has been won by the Hulk, transports the Amphibion back to its home world.
With the battle over, the Watcher -- not wishing to interfere -- transports the Hulk back to his home world where the Hulk collects the Ultimate Machine, in spite of the Watcher's warnings. The Hulk is then suddenly transported back to Earth where the Leader takes the Ultimate Machine from him. When trying to use the device, the machine affixes around the Leader's head, seemingly killing him.
- Although the Leader seemingly dies here, he turns up alive and well in Incredible Hulk #115.
