The first "Continuity Note" for this entry reads:
Peter and Mary Jane are referred to as husband and wife here. However, years later, their marriage is erased from existence by the demon Mephisto in Amazing Spider-Man #545. As such they should be considered a common-law couple here.Which strikes me as a bit... much? Is every mention that was ever made of their marriage going to be subject to continuity revision? I could understand if something published after "One More Day" included a flashback to the time when they were formerly married, or something like that where the info is actually relevant. But attaching a revisionist-history footnote onto every published mention of their marriage, as if trying to ensure that Mephisto's actions even affect the real world, that just seems excessive. -- FeRDNYC (talk) 13:56, February 21, 2019 (UTC)
