Move proposal[]
The blade is clearly not a katana - it is a double-edged straight blade marrying elements of fencing blades and East Asian slashing blades. -- WarBlade (talk) 21:34, April 22, 2013 (UTC)
- I didn't say it's a katana, its a katana like sword. It's actually a custom made sword. resembling a katana. This can be seen during the many continuities of blade the hunter, midnight sons, lucas cross. as ronin during mighty avengers, during the Superhuman registration act and even now. So actually it's a heavily modified Katana.
- That double edged, is barely seen during the comics. u are referring to the movies to much. In the animated storylines he does use a double edged sword version though. But not in the Blade Anime which he uses some kind of shinobi-hybrid single edged sword. Anyways, feel free to discuss -- Blade The Hunterr (talk)

Merge proposal[]
Given the fact that Blade has been shown to make use of many blades throughout his vampire-hunting career (meaning that he's not been using one single sword like this page's existence seem to suggest), I want to propose that this page's content be merged to the weapons section of his page (the same goes for his variants).
