The cover clearly states that it is #3 not #4. I can only speculate that originally they had the series inherit the numbering from Red Raven Comics but after the first 4 Human Torch covers they realized that it would confuse people if the cover numbers didn't match the copy right info and thus they just decided to fix the fine print on the issue with cover number 5. I wonder is they would have considered the first four issues (#2-5"summer") miss printed numbers. Should the numbering reflect the fine print or the cover? Should there be a note about the renumbering in all the issues before 5 (fall)?
