I think there's a very good argument for making Hyperion-13034 the main Hyperion. He's the active Hyperion in the Marvel Universe, and will be appearing in two ongoing series, including an eponymous one. He's the Hyperion new readers and visitors will be coming here to look for. Hyperion-712 hasn't appeared in comics in over seven years. I could see an argument for always keeping the Earth-616 version as the Main Character, but this isn't him. I could see an argument for keeping the 1st Hyperion published as the Main Character, but this isn't him either.
On the other hand, the Earth-712 version has been around for about forty years and will inevitably return, whereas the current one will in all probability be forgotten inside ten. Tony ingram (talk) 16:49, October 24, 2015 (UTC)
That sounds like Future-Marvel Wiki's problem. Present-Marvel Wiki should be concerned with prevalence and accessibility now. If and when Hyperion-712 becomes more prominent than Hyperion-13034 again, the Main Character can always be switched back. Monolith616 (talk) 17:18, October 24, 2015 (UTC)
I agree with Monolith616 on this one. The Hyperion-13034 is who is being referenced the vast majority of the time in current stories. That being said, after Secret Wars a primary Hyperion page should exist with sources and notes to clearly see that the character in question is the one from most recent canon stories and if it changes down the road then it should be updated as such. No more numerous vague Marcus Milton and Hyperion pages with scattered data. It's confusing to somebody who wants to know about this character. Darkseid Prime (talk) 22:21, November 12, 2015 (UTC)
