Is the human torch really dead and if he is will any body replace him?

He's "dead". We didn't see him die, but he was clearly headed that way. And he hand-selected Spider-Man to be his replacement, though the Fantastic Four have since become the Future Foundation.

I think the move to Human Torch (Jonathan "Johnny" Storm) is necessary. All the main characters like Spider-Man, Hulk, or Wolverine have their pages with their code name and then their real name in (). Human Torch is a main character and should be treated as such Ultimate Heatblast 16:10, June 11, 2012 (UTC)

The pages were renamed as not as characters were "main" or not, it was because the number of searches they've got in Google, and changing them makes them easier to find.

How does Johnny handle explosions? I know he wouldn't be bothered by the flames, but what about the concussive effects? --Fox Boss (talk) 06:26, December 6, 2015 (UTC)

I would assume he'd be affected just the same as anybody else. Uncanny X-Factor (talk) 23:25, December 6, 2015 (UTC)

Does Johnny have any degree of superhuman strength? Because I've seen him perform some remarkable feats of physical strength.
