weird pattern[]
did anyone else notice that a lot of marvel characters are suddenly becoming amputees? hellion lost his hands, karma lost her leg, u.s.agent lost his left arm and leg, why are so many characters losing some body parts?
- It's the price of war. Makes them more interesting. Gives them depth. Take your pick. I doubt there's any purpose behind it than trying to show that these giant battles have casualties other than the dead.

Anothr thing i don't get is why did he turn down more advanced prosthetics because he didn't want to become a cyborg? as long as the prosthetics aren't grafted to his body, he isn't a cyborg.
- He'd likely still feel like one. The whole point behind that decision is seeing Nuke/Scourge, a man with a similar origin to Walker's who was slowly turned into a cyborg and driven mad in the process (well, I guess the madness came first, but still). By going with extremely low-tech prosthetics, there's no need to worry about becoming him. Plus, he's shown he's still a perfectly capable fighter.

Why is Walker's first appearance as USAgent listed as Captain America 354 (dated June '89)? He appears as USAgent on the last page of West Coast Avengers 44, dated May '89. Tony ingram (talk) 17:04, February 11, 2020 (UTC)
