I don't know about you guys, but I believe that Michael Keaton will be reprising his role as Vulture in this film, possibly confirming it passes in the MCU; another thing that increases my opinion is the graffiti of Spider-Man in one scene with the word "Murderer" written in it, refering to the accusation he suffered for being responsible for Mysterio's apparent death in Spider-Man: Far From Home.
Possibly, it could be another role and Sony only hired him as a marketing strategy for his role as Vulture in Spider-Man: Homecoming. However, before we do anything, I want to hear the other editors opinion. So, what do you guys thing?

- It hasn't been confirmed Keaton is playing Toomes. And even if he does, an actor can play the same actor across movies, and still be in different universes. Other examples include Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool, and more recently J.K. Simmons as J. Jonah Jameson. EDIT: Another example being animations and video games re-using the same voice actors for specific characters (For example, Adrian Pasdar as the voice of Iron Man).
- And considering Sony is selling both Venom and Morbius as being a shared universe of its own, then the references would be nothing more than a bridge (a bridge between two places doesn't make said places the same one), since Feige has said Spidey is the only one who can cross between universes, Marvel and Sony's.
