Thanks for the clarification, Loki. It's been a long time since I read those issues, though I'm currently in the process of adding them to the DB. [[User:Tony ingram|Tony ingram]] 14:59, September 3, 2011 (UTC)

Most people ignore the issues from #30 to #42, thinking they are purely reprints of Captain Britain and Black Knight's origins. They are not - they're ''mostly'' reprint, but small amounts of new text and modified art provide new information, such as the above confirmation that the Otherworld Modred was the Black Knight comics' Mordred, and the Nethergods' involvement in creating several past foes of both the Knight and CB. Sadly Panini overlooked this and so didn't include those issues in their collected CB TPBs; the US collected TPBs luckily don't make the same oversight. Mo(r)dred in the UK Black Knight strip...

...is unquestionably the Mordred who tackled the Black Knight in the 1950s comic. Marvel Super-Heroes #17 depicted the spirit of the Asgardian Mordred empowering le Sabre to fight the modern day Black Knight; when le Sabre failed, Mordred was chasisted by his demonic masters. Hulk Comic #40 and Hulk Comic #41 represented the same story, noting that this was the Evil Walker Modred, showing Mordred dressed in the same robes he wore during the Otherworld saga, and revealing that the Nethergod Mandrac was one of those demonic masters. Thanks for the clarification, Loki. It's been a long time since I read those issues, though I'm currently in the process of adding them to the DB. Tony ingram 14:59, September 3, 2011 (UTC)
