TRN[]

If she is from the 87th Century, why doesn't she have a TRN assigned to her?--Primestar3 (talk) 19:04, December 23, 2018 (UTC)

While it is logical, by the same logic every alternate reality version of Old Lace would require a separate TRN reality as well, because they are all from the future. Seems not very useful to me, so I suggest to leave page as is. --Harasar (talk) 12:29, 24 April 2021 (UTC)
So usually how we deal with this, is if the main version of a character is from a different reality, they get assigned as such. Future Man is another example of this with a TRN. I don't know if Old Lace's future ever appears or is only mentioned. Alternates get attached to the alternate reality they appear in. Depending on who you ask (us versus the appendix) this is because of convenience and not wanting to assign all those realities TRNs. Or the other view which is that every character who diverged on an AU is from the same origjnal reality. (which is why a reality like TRN122 is unlikely to be assigned a number even though it is diverged in our opinion) Copeinator123 (talk) 18:16, 24 April 2021 (UTC)
The most common example of what Copeinator is talking about is Gamora. The problem with Old Lace is that she's from the future and we can't consider any future we see to be the true future of Earth-616, so despite seeming apparently ridiculous, it's the most accurate description of the character's reality. | Pedronog (talk) 18:39, 24 April 2021 (UTC)
