Maybe a silly question but can you speak about gender for robots like Ultron, Albert etc I think not, they can't reproduce themself (ok just rebuild or remake). But they don't need an other one from the other sexe.

And who say's Ultron is a man? He looks like a man thats all.

My solution is to fill in Gender = None

Any thoughts?? Peter Wildenbeest 15:30, 1 August 2007 (UTC)

I wouldn't say "None" cause it would generate "None Characters" category from the template. I would think it should be Ungendered (is that a word??) or "Non-Gendered" and this would produce Non-Gendered Characters category (Much better?).
The even weirder thing is that Ultron built himself a "female" robot because he was lonely or something and he has "married" a few robots. Who says non-gendered and non-living things can't find love...Marvel found a way for them to. ;) --M1shawhan 23:42, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
Ungendered,Non Gendered....lol to find an English word is not my proplem. Oepsss I gotta think about a Dutch word.......Peter Wildenbeest 07:47, 2 August 2007 (UTC) In My avengers handbook fearues ultron height chandged to 6'9" User:Venomspider123

ULTRON STRENGTH

How can you say ULTRONĀ“s strength is only 15 tons? ULTRON has fought hand-to-hand to THOR, WONDERMAN, VISION, IRONMAN, ARES, SENTRY,... His body is near indestructible, he can lift THE VISION at full density (90 tons)... Only 15? You are kidding.

Being able to lift a certain amount of weight doesn't mean that you can't hold your own in a fight against a physically stronger opponent. Look at Spider-Man or Wolverine as neither of them are heavyweights in the physical strength department. Despite this, they've defeated some of the strongest characters on the Marvel roster. Ultron's latest entry into the OHOTMU says that Ultron can lift 15 tons for a limited amount of time. If he did lift the Vision, while the Vision was at maximum density, then the 15 ton strength stat is moot and innacurate. However, what issue of what comic did this take place? Also, if you're getting some of your information on Marvel.com, it's not accurate. Since anyone can edit the profiles on Marvel.com, their reliability is in question. I went there earlier today and lots of the profiles are filled with information that's inaccurate and outdated.14:17, 28 August 2007 (UTC)

I agree Marvel.com has some inaccurate information. Ironic, as they are supposed to be the initiators of this info?!?! Either way, the first question is valid as there is no way to verify it from our site either (we are editable by everyone as well...) I think that it only justifies the need for citations when possible on every "statement" so that, if nothing else, we can beat Marvel.com at their own game. If you know of when Ultron lifted Vision (90 tons), then definitely site this occurrence. Likewise, we should all try to cite all sources we can on all (strength, powers, names, etc) as this only backs up what is stated and also makes us look a LOT more knowledgeable of the characters and a source for others to reference. Which amazes me that Marvel does not enforce this or have these checks and balances... --M1shawhan 01:56, 29 August 2007 (UTC)

Question

In ULTRON UNLIMITED [Avengers vol 3 / 19 (VIII/99)] ALKHEMA lifts and throws away the VISION at maximun density (90 Tons). Are you really saying ALKHEMA is stronger than ULTRON? - The preceding unsigned comment was added by VORKOSIGAN (talk • contribs).

The Hulk has supported the weight of mountains, but that doesn't mean that the She-Hulk could as well. Just because Alkhema can lift 90 tons doesn't automatically mean Ultron can. I don't think it's so outlandish to consider the possibility that Alkhema might be physically stronger. I'm not an expert on Ultron and wouldn't claim to be. I might very well be wrong about his strength. The only fair way to bypass his OHOTMU strength stat is to use an example of Ultron itself performing a feat of strength that exceeds the limits provided by the OHOTMU.Jack Hammer 23:56, 1 September 2007 (UTC)
Sorry, but you canĀ“t compare, everybody knows every gamma-irradiated person is different. ULTRON and ALKHEMA are the same: the same adamantium body, the same weapons, the same strength. As AVENGERS say in ULTRON UNLIMITED, the only real difference between them is ULTRON wants to destroy all humandkind at once, and ALKHEMA prefers killing people one by one. Any sources? Anyone?

I think I've got it. I stopped by my comic store today and happened upon a copy of the OHOTMU: Avengers 2005 and picked it up. There was a profile on Ultron in the issue and, at least to my knowledge, it's the most recent OHOTMU profile for the character. The text describing Ultron's superhuman powers doesn't mention an exact number, but the powergrid shows his physical strength at level 6, which is by current OHOTMU standards indicates sufficient strength to lift over 75 tons and no more than 100 tons. I was going by the most recent profile on him and the 15 ton level is wrong. Though, basing strength in comparisson to a similar character isn't the way to go. Since the profile doesn't give a specific number, I propose listing Ultron as being able to lift at least 75 tons. Thoughts?Jack Hammer 22:43, 4 September 2007 (UTC)

My Avengers Handbook

In my Avengers handbook it said that Ultron's Height is 6'9" and i'm not lying it saids on his Height 3:49 pm User:Holo78

His height is 6'0" and "variable", end of story. His height needs to remain showing 6'0" (per marvel.com) unless this is completely revamped by them, he suddenly shrinks, or he is given a static height. --M1shawhan 23:03, 17 April 2009 (UTC)

Picture Inaccuracy

Should we change his picture? That's a picture of Ultron of Earth-61112, as shown by his golden color and the fact that the picture is on the cover of an issue that only takes place in Earth-61112. GZilla311 (talk) 03:53, March 13, 2014 (UTC)

Good catch. We had been using one from his final appearance, but an user recently changed it to Age of Ultron's Ultron and apparently no one noticed his mistake.

I'm noticed this too. But isn't this Ultron's main image is from Avengers Vol 4 12.1? Isn't this issue takes place in Earth-61112? Yes, main Ultron's previous image is incorrect, but present image too. (Sorry If I make a grammar mistake)
--Primestar3 (talk) 22:26, March 15, 2014 (UTC)
We use that image because in Age of Ultron #10 that same panel appears taking place in Earth-616.
