Synopsis for "The Coming of the Thousand"
A man shows envy as he sees Spider-Man fighting Rhino, thinking that he should be in his place and knows that Spider-Man is actually Peter Parker. The man Carl, who bullied Peter as a child, attacked Jess Patton, a Bugle employee, and took over her body that night.
