History

Tara was the eldest of the three children of Stakar and Aleta. She possessed latent mental powers like her siblings. She and her siblings John and Sita were kidnapped by their grandfather Ogord and put under mind control. He awakened the siblings' mental abilities and turned them into psychic vampires, whose purpose was to kill their father Starhawk. When the Guardians of the Galaxy removed the mind control devices, their powers reversed and were aged at a super fast rate, turning all three children to dust and killing them in seconds.
