In the Earth-616 Universe, the Tarantula mantle is the Delvadian counterpart to Captain America, Anton Miguel is the original, longest running, and possibly best-known Tarantula. Later, Rodriguez died of his own free will from several shots while mutated into the form of a huge arachnid. He was recently brought back to life by the Jackal.
- César Mendivil, the first Tarantula, hero of Delvadia in the late 1800s, who went missing.
- Luis Alvarez, after Rodriguez's death, the Delvadia government transferred his mantle to Captain Luis Alvarez, who was injected with drugs that raised him to the peak of human strength. Luis was later killed as part of an initiation ritual into a vigilante team known as the Jury.
- Jacinda Rodriguez, Anton Miguel's daughter, has become the new Tarantula. She was hired to kill Taskmaster and was partnered with Marie Batroc. A few years later, she began working in her country with Devil-Spider.
- Later, an unnamed man dressed as a Tarantula began to frequent the Bar with No Name and work for Black Cat's Gang. He was eventually killed Miss Sinister
- Unrelated to the Delvadian legacy, Maria Vasquez was inspired to become a super hero after Nitro killed her sister in Stamford. She served as a member of the Heroes for Hire until their disbandment.
