—Teefs[source]I think my name shall be "Teefs", because while we all do have them, mine are definitely the most prominent.
History
The walrus known as Teefs was a test subject of the High Evolutionary as part of his experiments to create a perfect society, belonging in Batch 89. He experimented on him on his planet, Counter-Earth, implanting wheels into his sides to help him move around, miniature hydraulics on his eyelids to help him blink, and various other circuitry and wires, turning him into a cyborg.
While trapped on Counter-Earth, Teefs made some friends in the rabbit Floor, the otter Lylla, and the raccoon Rocket. The group raised each others’ spirits, holding out hope of rescue, escape, or just things getting better in general.
One day, Rocket discovered Teefs and the rest of Batch-89 weren't destined to live on Conter-Earth but were going to be incinarated. He tried to escape with his friends, but they were all killed in the ensuing firefight, leaving Rocket the only survivor.[1]Notes
- Asim Chaundhry portrays Teefs in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
- Teefs seems to have been inspired by Wal Rus, a walrus associate of Rocket Raccoon’s from Earth-616.
