History
In the early 1980s, after a rescue mission to save Mister Justice and US diplomats in Halwan, the First Line evacuated to Tel Aviv, where Mr. Justice was treated at the Ben-Gurion Medical Center.[1]
The Israeli hero Sabra battled the Hulk, whom she mistakenly believed was working with Arab terrorists operating in Israel. As Hulk left with the body of a young Arab killed by the terrorists, Sabra chased him and at the end of their encounter, she was devastated by the Hulk's speech about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the death of the boy Sahad.[2]
Legion was comatose in a Tel Aviv hospital, where Mystique planned to kill him as he was responsible for the death of her beloved Destiny. Mystique disguised herself as his mother, Gabrielle Haller, and went to the hospital. Just as she was about to inject David with a lethal dose, a mysterious force took control of her arm. A dark presence filled the room, and the voice of Legion, who had not been awake for years, spoke to Mystique, welcoming her. X-Factor arrived at the scene to stop Mystique from another attempt at murder, but she managed to flee the hospital. She met with Avalanche at the Tel Aviv Marina. X-Factor quickly found her, as Avalanche had been tracked from the moment he had entered the country. As Avalanche used his powers to cause a tidal wave, Mystique managed to get away again, though chased by Wolfsbane, as X-Factor took care of the potential disaster. After a brief fight with first Wolfsbane and then Forge, Mystique was approached by a levitating Legion, who took her away to talk. He then defeated her telepathically and sent X-Factor away, before leaving the scene himself, telling Mystique that he would make it better.[3]Points of Interest
