History
The Temporal Loom was a vital machine for the TVA, responsible for taking in several branching timelines to condense them into a singular reality.[1] It was also designed to act as a failsafe to protect the Sacred Timeline, deleting branches that were not supposed to exist.[2]
In the wake of the death of He Who Remains, branching timelines began to generate at uncontrollable rates, overloading the Loom and threatening its destruction.[1] The multiple attempts of Ouroboros to stabilize the Loom and expand its capacity with a Throughput Multiplier, with the help of Hunter B-15, Cassey, Mobius, Loki and Timely failed.[3][4][5][2] Through his time slip, Loki discovered the true nature of the Loom, deciding to destroy it and weave the branches by hand, traveling to the End of Time to sit on his throne.[2]See Also
