History
The history of Ten Rings was identical to that of its Earth-199999 counterpart until Janet Van Dyne was infected by a virus from the Quantum Realm. Janet infected her husband Hank Pym when he tried to take her out of the Quantum Realm which resulted in the spread of the virus around the world.
During the zombie apocalypse, Wenwu deployed many of his organization's helicopters to United States to find Shang-Chi and rescue him. When Shang-Chi was bitten, Wenwu sacrificed himself by giving him his ten rings, thus stopping his son's infection. At that moment, Wenwu was immolated by the zombies, while Shang-Chi, Katy Chen, Jimmy Woo, and the other survivors managed to escape in a helicopter where Death Dealer was located.[1]
