Terry Ford was hailed by Mary Jane Watson as one of the best stage managers of Broadway. He was part of the staff of a musical about the Fantastic Four that starred Melanie Daniels as the Invisible Woman.
When the stage was hijacked by Electro to hold Melanie for ransom, Terry hid in the backstage, where he encountered audience members Mary Jane Watson and Carlie Cooper, who intended to defuse the situation. Mary Jane came up with a plan, and had Carlie distract Electro while she switched places with Melanie to give Terry enough time to drop a water tank on the villain to neutralize her powers.[1]
