History
Thanat was a demon who had been placed by Mephisto to guard the Gates of Hell and there he complained to the other demons bullying them and telling them that despite his power Mephisto used him as a simple guardian, this just as Alejandra, who at the time was Ghost Rider, tried to assault Hell who grabbed Thanat by the throat with her chain and tore his head from his neck.[1]
