History

Thanos raised Gamora and Nebula as his daughters, training them to be assassins their entire life, though he showed favor towards Gamora. Over time, Gamora began to drift from Thanos's ways, causing him to distrust her and attempt to pit Nebula against her. Eventually, both Gamora and Nebula defected from Thanos.

Years later, Thanos would attack the Nova Corps in an attempt to steal the Eternity Forge. He was by the Guardians of the Galaxy, which included Gamora, who arrived to stop him. After an intense battle, to the surprise of the Guardians, they managed not only to stop Thanos, but to kill him.

Depending on the choices the player makes in-game, his body is either turned over to the Nova Corp or sold to The Collector, where it would eventually be stolen by an unknown assailant.
