Synopsis
Reed, Andy, and Eclipse go to Baton Rouge to steal files on what the Sentinel Services did to Pulse from a federal building Dreamer saw in Agent Turner's memories.. They have to hide in the back of a truck to get there after Blink suddenly leaves the Underground's headquarters because of what she found out about how Dreamer manipulated her. The truck driver tells a police officer that he's headed to Denver when they pull the truck over, and Eclipse uses his powers to prevent the officer from seeing them. One they arrive in Baton Rouge, they find the building has heavier security than they expected, so that night Andy breaks through a wall so they can break in. Eclipse and Reed find the files, and the mutants get out of there before the police can close in on them.
On the way back to Atlanta, Eclipse notices the police are following the truck but are for some reason not stopping it. Reed realizes their being lead into a trap and has headquarters send help. Polaris, meanwhile, has been training some of the new mutant refugees to arrive at the base so they can help them fight against the Sentinel Services. One of them, Wes, has become close to Lauren, who suggests to Polaris that the three of them could help the truck get to safety. While Polaris prevents the Sentinels from shooting the truck, Lauren creates a giant ramp with her shields so the truck can drive over their roadblock. Wes then uses his powers to create an illusion behind the truck so the Sentinel Services can't follow them.
Agent Turner goes back to work at the Sentinel Services' regional headquarters in Atlanta. Rediscovering his daughter's death has clearly taken a toll on him, and his partner Agent Weeks wants him to take some time off for his own good. Frustrated with the lack of progress in catching the Strucker children and the Mutant Underground, Agent Turner accepts Dr. Campbell's help in exchange for access to the Sentinel Service's files on the Struckers.
That night, Carmen calls Eclipse to collect on his debt to her.Cast
