The Shard is a skyscraper in Southwark, London. It is the tallest building in the United Kingdom.

Events

When the Shadow King telepathically took control of Psylocke while she was visiting London, he had her summon a giant butterfly made of psychic energy that latched onto the Shard, from where she was forced to launch a psychic attack on the city. The butterfly then began to slowly shapeshift into a tarantula. A group of mutants summoned by Psylocke managed to cut off the Shadow King's influence, and stop the crisis.
