Black Tom Cassidy shared a similar history to his Earth-616 counterpart until the death of the X-Men on Krakoa. He was training Theresa Cassidy, the new Banshee, when she was telepathically contacted by Beast to join his new team of X-Men to stop Count Nefaria. Black Tom seemingly tried to stop Beast's communication but was ultimately unsuccessful as Banshee was teleported along with everyone else.[1]
