History
Thomas Flannery is a mutant with the ability to project heat and flame from his hands. Born during the 19th century, Thomas was tricked by Dr. Nathaniel Essex into leaving his home in Ireland and traveled with him to his London Estate. Once there, Essex kept Thomas under lock and key with a handful of other mutants. When an old friend of Essex's, James Xavier, learned of what he had done, he fought Essex and freed Thomas and the other prisoners.[1]
