History
Billy Maximoff and his brother Tommy Maximoff were observed across the Multiverse by the Scarlet Witch, a version of their mother from another reality. Having lost her own sons, the Scarlet Witch planned to reunite with them by traveling into another universe where they were still alive.
Billy and Tommy interrupted their mom's chocolate cooking and were told to go wash their hands. That night, Wanda tucked both boys into beds, telling them that family was forever. On the evening of another, they sand their mother a song about ice cream, unaware that their mother was already possessed by the Scarlet Witch through dreamwalking. The Scarlet Witch took their mother's body on a violent rampage, which left her with several prominent cuts on her face and body.
The next day, as the boys were sitting in front of the TV, the Scarlet Witch appeared before them in the flesh through a portal opened by America Chavez. Billy and Tommy were so scared of the Witch, they didn't even recongnize the face of their mother in her and were freaked out, crying for their real mom. Wanda came down to protect them, but was telekinetically thrown away by her counterpart. Scared, the boys tried to chase the Witch away and having failed to do so, asked her not to hurt them. This caused Scarlet Witch to have an epiphany and quiet down, giving the boys time to run for their mother. Shielding them with her body, Wanda gently touched her other self and told her that the boys would be loved. With the Scarlet Witch having seen enough, America then pulled her back and closed the portal behind them.[1]Notes
