History

The Asgardian God of Thunder, Thor became a target of the Maker when the evil alternate version of Reed Richards settled on Earth-6160 to reshape it to his image. He faciliated the ascension of Thor's brother, Loki, to the throne of Asgard, in the process causing the destruction of the Bifrost and Thor's imprisonment.

Voluntarily, Thor served his sentence for treason under the law imposed by the new ruler of Asgard, with Lady Sif as his warden. Upon the arrival of Iron Lad and Doom, who were using a spacecraft capable of reaching Asgard, Thor agreed to his freedom and went to recover Mjolnir.
