"Zimniy Storozh" is a wrong translation. "Guard" can be indeed translated as "сторож" (storozh), but "сторож" is a person, not a group, and it is also quite outdated term. Right translation for group is "стража" or "охрана". However, in Russia "охрана" is a name used for person or group employed to protect property, people, money, etc. (i.e. security guard), while "стража" is a more ceremonial term, with nobler and honorable connotation. So, for a team created to protect country, "Зимняя Стража" seems to be a much more fitting name than "Зимняя Охрана".
No, in fact it seems to go out of its way NOT to say that.
The entry remarks that she "developed superhuman abilities extremely early in life". It also reinforces the notion that she joined Alpha Flight because Langkowski promised to share his theories about the origin of her abilities. At no point is it suggested she is mutant/homo superior.
Yes, both the Thanos Quest #2 and Silver Surfer (3rd series) #45 info is found there. The Entity is gender neutral in the A-Z entry, and the Ego Gem is defined as containing that entity's memories and enabling the gems' collective consciousness.
Could you please doublecheck everything in Apocalypse's Characteristics section of his Infobox, as well as his Power Grid and Super-Genius status, that are all attributed to his entry in Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe A-Z #1, as a way to either confirm or refute this assertion that it is a false reference for his presently listed weight? Thanks in advance for your time.
The A-Z #1 says 300 lbs. The A-Z says he has Blue eyes, so I changed it to match; however, I do agree that Apocalypse is rarely if ever depicted with Blue eyes -- even in the A-Z entry images, his eyes are Red or Yellow.
His Power Grid is correct per the A-Z. However, I removed a line that asserted Apocalypse is a Super-Genius even beyond his exposure to Celestial technology, which is not found or supported in the Handbook.
