This is a serious incident involving one of your users exploiting and blackmailing my child. I have gotten the police involved. I do not appreciate the condescending attitude young man. If you're done being a smug little jerk, kindly fetch your keeper and butt out of the conversation.
Please watch the angry tone, angry parent. I'm just telling you that is extremely unlikely that Jamie will answer this message, so if the matter is that urgent, it's better that you talk to somebody active in the site.
Sorry. But I am very upset by this. I expect a lot more urgency when someone using your service is exploiting a minor. If this Jamie is unavailable, tell me who is in a position of authority around here.
ADour is one of our most active Administrators, as am I, plus I guarantee there are other Admin that have been following this thread as well. We have the ability to view deleted or edited messages, etc., to get to the bottom of any complaint, but we need a starting point to be able to address your concern, until then there's not much we can do when we've not been told where the alleged issue took place nor at the very least who the alleged perpetrator or victim are.
For the record, I will not be revealing the identity of my child. I do not want them to be open to any harassment from their abuser and I do not want them to be re-victimized during this process.
As for who the individual is. It is one of your administrators. That's why I want to speak to someone of a higher authority. How do I know you guys aren't going to protect each other? I want someone with some authority dealing with this, not a bunch of kids who do this as a hobby.
Every member of the admin team has almost the same level of authority as Jamie. We are not in the place we are in the heriarchy of this site by virtue of being "a bunch of kids." Each of us has been approved by Jamie and no member of the admin team is underaged.
Above all else we strive to provide a healthy community in the Marvel Database, and I consider that no member should be exempt from facing consequences for their actions because they are an administrator or a moderator. None of these badges are a free pass.
If you are being genuine, I am more than willing to listen to your concerns. So I ask that you stop undermining us.
I am obviously very upset to hear about this situation involving one of our community members, especially an administrator. For the sake of your privacy and the privacy of your child, let's take this serious matter out of this public forum and into email.
Thank you very much for bringing this urgent issue to our attention. As a community, and as a parent myself, we would always aim to safeguard our youngest and most vulnerable community members and have a zero-tolerance policy to those who would seek harm them. We will get to the bottom of this together.
