History

Baron Zemo disguised the Masters of Evil as the heroes of the Thunderbolts. He himself took on the mantle of Citizen V. Later, when they were discovered, they were attacked by the Avengers, but due to Hawkeye and Meteorite romantic affinity, the battle ceased. Hawkeye decided to become the new leader of the team in order to make the Thunderbolts real heroes, and Zemo was expelled from his position as leader due to his villainous nature.

The Thunderbolts were lead by Hawkeye when Spider-Man visited to collect their bill for newspaper delivery.
