History

The man who was known as the Tiger of Tokchon was a ruthless commanding officer in the People's Liberation Army of China during the 1950s. He was active during the Korean War, bringing his own daughter along with him, unaware that she was against his ruthless ways.

During the course of the war he managed to capture American soldiers Hank "Combat" Kelly and Cookie Novak. Deciding to torture the two Americans, he had them buried up to their necks in mud and had their heads smeared with chocolate and left them to be eaten alive by ants. He then left the two soldiers to die to oversee his troops rig a path with explosives as a trap for an American troop that was scheduled to pass through the area.

This proved to be the Tiger's undoing, as his daughter rescued Combat and Cookie, who then went after the Tiger. Before they could attack the enemy commander, the Tiger's own daughter mowed him down with a gun and then set off the explosives before the Chinese soldiers could get clear of their trap, decimating the entire enemy troop. Although she knew killing her father was the right thing to do, the girl still mourned his death.[1]
