This time probe was used to kidnap Tony Stark and bring it forward in the Earth-68091 24th century, to be executed for a crime he had yet to commit in creating the super computer Cerebrus, which ruled the world through its army of mindless humanoids and robot servitors. After having defeated Cerebrus, attracted by the tremendous power needed to operate the Time-Probe, Iron Man was able to travel back in his time.[1]
