History

Dum Dum Dugan was a member of the Howling Commandos, who served during World War II. They were allies with Captain America (Steve Rogers) and Bucky Barnes. After being unfrozen decades later, Captain America began to miss his allies from his own decade.

He became a member Ghoulbusters/S.H.I.E.L.D. who were called to remove a couple of ghosts. However, the Ghoulbsuters used guns, whose bullets went straight through the ghosts.

At some point Dum Dum Dugan was a Life-Model Decoy of the original, who was presented to Captain America who was missing his old buddies from World War II. He was accidentally destroyed by the Winter Soldier (Bucky Barnes), who Steve had been ignoring.
