History
Tommy was a member of the Morlocks, an underground community of mutants too disfigured to live on the surface. She was among the Morlocks when they kidnapped Jean Grey and Scott Summers, and was present when Storm challenged Callisto to a duel and defeated her, becoming the new leader of the Morlocks. Storm offered Tommy and the others to come to Xavier's School for the Gifted, but they remained underground, believing that humankind was not yet ready to accept them.[1]
When the President pardoned the mutant Beast, the Friends of Humanity started violent attacks against mutants and those who associated with them. Tommy and Ape were also attacked, but managed to escape into the sewers.[2] Later, she was among the mutants who joined Magneto on Asteroid M.[3] She was one of the countless mutants who lost their life during the attack on Genosha.[4]Notes
- Tommy made several appearances in the X-Men Animated series in "Captive Hearts" (when the Morlocks kidnapped Jean Grey and Scott Summers), in "Out of the Past", in "Sanctuary" she was amongst the group of mutants who joined Magneto on Asteroid M and in "Secrets, Not Long Buried" she also made a cameo in the town taken over by the Children of the Shadow. Her appearance was identical to the one she had in the comics and she also displayed the ability to become two-dimensional and also blend in with the surrounding environment.
